Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 9, 2026
This policy explains how ZardoCards handles personal information when you shop at zardocards.com, contact support or use our chat services. The store is operated by Zardo Cards inc, 3275 Chemin de l’Industrie, Saint-Mathieu-de-Beloeil, Québec J3G 0M8, Canada.
1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide to place or manage an order, including your name, contact details, billing and shipping addresses, selected products and order history. Payment services process payment information. We receive the transaction information needed to manage payments, refunds and fraud checks; do not send full payment-card numbers or security codes to support.
When you contact us, we may retain your messages, chat transcripts, order references, photos or attachments and the steps taken to resolve your request. Technical information can include IP address, browser or device information, pages visited, timestamps and service logs. Depending on your consent choices and the tools in use, cookies or similar technologies can also record website interactions.
Identity and payment verification
Some orders require verification to confirm that the purchaser is authorized to use the payment method and to prevent impersonation, identity theft and fraudulent purchases. Depending on the payment method, we may request identification, proof of address and proof showing only the last four digits of the payment card, or proof of a PayPal payment. Submit documents through the designated verification process. Never provide a full card number, PIN or card security code (CVV); conceal unnecessary payment information.
Verification documents are used for fraud and identity review, with access restricted to authorized security reviewers and the service providers needed to operate the verification service. They are not used for marketing. Our verification system is configured to automatically delete approved verification documents within 24 hours after approval and rejected verification documents after 7 days. Minimal audit metadata and the verification status are retained; this does not delete normal order, payment or legally required records.
Once approved, customers are marked as verified and do not normally need to submit the documents again, regardless of order value. That status remains active unless revoked by an administrator. An approval notification is sent by email. Contact info@zardocards.com with questions about verification or document deletion.
2. How we use information
We use information to process and deliver orders, manage payments and refunds, answer questions, investigate delivery or product problems, maintain records, detect fraud and protect our services. We also use service and interaction information to understand website and support performance and improve our responses. Marketing and advertising uses depend on your choices and the consent required by applicable law.
3. Support chat and assistance tools
Our support services may use AI tools to answer questions, prepare suggested replies and help staff review requests. Relevant messages and order context may be processed by service providers, including Anthropic for AI assistance, for those purposes. You may request human assistance by emailing info@zardocards.com. Avoid including sensitive information that is not needed for your request. We review order remedies through our support processes; an automated response is not proof that a refund or order action has occurred.
4. Cookies, analytics and marketing choices
Essential technologies support functions such as checkout, security and storing preferences. Optional analytics or advertising technologies may help measure interactions and campaigns. Where consent is required, these technologies must follow your consent choices. Withdrawing optional consent does not prevent you from making a purchase, although some optional features may be unavailable.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using their unsubscribe link or contact us. Essential order and support communications may continue. Browser cookie settings provide additional controls but do not replace any website consent controls made available to you. Contact us if you need help with your choices.
5. Sharing and processing locations
We share information needed for services with providers such as Shopify, payment processors, carriers, communication and support services, hosting and storage services, and analytics or advertising providers where permitted. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect legal rights, or as part of a business transaction subject to applicable safeguards.
Information may be processed outside your province or country, where privacy laws may differ.
6. Retention and safeguards
We retain information for the purposes described here, including completing transactions, handling support or disputes, meeting legal and accounting obligations and preventing fraud. Retention depends on the type of information and the applicable obligation. Information no longer needed must be deleted or anonymized in accordance with applicable requirements.
We use safeguards appropriate to the information and restrict access to people and providers who need it for their work. No transmission or storage system is completely secure.
7. Your rights and requests
Depending on applicable law, you may request access to or correction of your information, withdraw consent, request deletion, and exercise other privacy rights, including receiving an electronic copy of eligible information. Some information must be retained to meet legal obligations or resolve an ongoing matter. We will explain any applicable limitation and may verify your identity using information proportionate to the request.
For a request or complaint, contact the management of Zardo Cards inc, responsible for personal information protection at info@zardocards.com (subject: Privacy), or by mail at Zardo Cards inc, 3275 Chemin de l’Industrie, Saint-Mathieu-de-Beloeil, Québec J3G 0M8, Canada. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. You may also contact the relevant privacy regulator.
8. Children
Children should use our services with a parent or guardian. Where required, we obtain the consent of a parent or guardian before collecting a child's personal information. Contact us if you believe a child supplied personal information without the required consent so we can review and take appropriate action.
9. Updates
We will display the date of the latest update here and provide additional notice or obtain new consent where required for a material change in how information is used. A policy update alone does not authorize a new use that requires your consent.
