Shipping & Delivery Policy
Last updated: October 9, 2026
1. Where we ship and how rates are shown
We ship from Canada to destinations supported at checkout. Available services and rates depend on your address, order size and the carrier. Shipping charges and any applicable free-shipping offer are shown at checkout before payment. See the offer's stated eligibility conditions; do not assume a promotion applies to every destination or product.
2. Processing your order
Paid, in-stock orders ready for fulfillment are normally dispatched the same business day. We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Canadian or Québec public holidays may delay processing; orders received while we are closed enter the next business day’s queue. This describes our normal dispatch practice, not a guaranteed arrival date or a promise that an order received after carrier collection can leave that day.
Payment or security verification, an inventory or condition discrepancy, a preorder, or an agreed order change can delay dispatch. If an issue affects your order, we will contact you about the available options. Preorders are identified on the product page and website, with their scheduled shipping date. That date applies to the preorder rather than our normal same-day dispatch practice. We will notify you if the announced shipping date changes. If items have different availability dates, we will confirm any alternative shipping arrangement and additional cost with you before changing the order.
Order verification before dispatch
Some orders require verification to confirm that the person placing the order is the authorized purchaser. If your order requires this step, dispatch is paused until you complete the verification and we approve it. Check your email and order instructions for the verification request and submit the requested information through the verification process provided. Do not send your full payment-card number or security code by email.
If an order has not shipped promptly, an incomplete or pending verification may be the reason. Other causes, such as a preorder, public holiday or inventory issue, can also delay dispatch; contact us if the reason is unclear.
Once we approve verification, an otherwise ready, in-stock order is normally dispatched within 24 hours, subject to our business-day schedule and carrier collection. Weekends and Canadian or Québec public holidays may delay dispatch. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking once the shipment is prepared for dispatch. A tracking number or label-created status may precede UPS collection.
3. Estimated delivery time
Our usual estimated transit times after dispatch are Canada: 1–5 business days; United States: 1–7 business days; other international destinations: 3–14 business days. UPS manages transport and its tracking provides shipment-specific updates and estimated arrival dates. The estimate shown for the selected service at checkout is the relevant delivery estimate for your order. Unless a service is expressly sold with a delivery guarantee, estimates are not guaranteed arrival dates. Carrier capacity, remote addresses, holidays, severe weather, strikes, UPS service interruptions, customs and broader disruptions affecting transport or international trade can affect arrival and the cost of future shipping services. We cannot control these events. We will not automatically increase charges on an existing paid order; any proposed change must be explained and handled in accordance with your agreement and applicable law. We remain responsible for the delivery commitments and remedies required by applicable law.
4. Tracking and address changes
We normally use signature-required delivery and provide shipment tracking by email. If you authorize UPS to release a shipment without a signature or change its delivery instructions, tell us about those instructions when reporting a problem so we can assess the actual delivery circumstances. A tracking number or “label created” status can appear before the carrier collects the parcel; the first carrier scan normally confirms movement. Check your email address and shipping details before purchasing. Contact us immediately about an address correction. We cannot guarantee changes after processing or dispatch.
5. Customs, import taxes and clearance
United States: import duties are prepaid for orders shipped to the United States. If UPS requests payment of duties that should already be prepaid, contact us with the notice so we can review it.
Other countries: prepaid duties or taxes will be indicated at checkout where available. If checkout does not state that those charges are prepaid or included, applicable import duties, VAT and clearance charges are the customer’s responsibility and may be collected by UPS or local authorities. Review the checkout information before purchasing. We can assist with order invoices and shipment documentation when clearance is delayed. We cannot control customs processing times or alter the actual transaction value to avoid charges.
6. Delayed, missing or delivered-but-not-received parcels
Contact info@zardocards.com with your order number and tracking information. For a parcel marked delivered, check the delivery location, household members and neighbours where practical, and tell us about any delivery instructions you gave the carrier. These checks do not replace our review of the issue.
We manage shipment issues with UPS and our UPS representative, investigate tracking and assess the available evidence. Our email support operates Monday to Friday and is closed on weekends; public holidays may affect response times. We do our best to resolve problems, facilitate communication and help you receive your order, but UPS investigation and delivery timelines are outside our direct control. We cannot guarantee a carrier resolution date. A delivered scan alone does not automatically close a claim. We will explain the next steps and available resolution, which may include replacement or refund depending on the facts and applicable law. An investigation does not suspend statutory deadlines or rights. You can also contact the carrier for local delivery information, but you do not have to handle the claim alone.
7. Transit damage or missing contents
Please report the issue promptly, preferably within seven days of receipt, with photos of the outer packaging, label, contents and affected items if available. Keep the packaging and avoid further opening of sealed products while we assess the issue. See our Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy for remedies. This reporting request does not shorten legal rights.
8. Returned or refused shipments
If a parcel is returned because you supplied an incorrect address, refused delivery or refused to pay applicable customs charges that were disclosed as your responsibility, you are responsible for the resulting return shipping charges to the extent permitted by applicable law. We will explain the charges and review any reshipment arrangement and its cost with you. This does not apply to an address error on our part or a demand for duties that we had agreed to prepay. An unsuccessful delivery is reviewed on its facts rather than automatically treated as customer fault. We will not withhold a legally required refund until the carrier completes its investigation.
9. Optional shipping protection: what happens in each situation?
Confirmed total loss
For a protected shipment that cannot be located after investigation with UPS and our representative, we assess compensation for the amount actually paid for the covered lost goods. We verify payment, shipment information and any compensation already received. A delay alone does not establish total loss. Investigations may take several weeks, but we do not require you to wait beyond any deadline or remedy imposed by applicable law.
Damage and loss of collectible value
We assess the difference in the affected item's value caused by the verified damage, using the price paid, the listing condition, photographs and the item's remaining condition. For minor packaging damage, an adjustment is often around 15% of the affected item's price; this is a reference, not an automatic rate or maximum. More serious damage, destroyed contents or an item whose collectible sealed condition has been lost require a separate assessment, which may justify compensation up to the full amount paid for that affected item. Opening by customs is reviewed based on the actual damage and loss of condition; it does not automatically mean the entire order is lost.
Preferred resolution
We generally offer store credit first as a proposed resolution, with your agreement. We will explain its amount before issuing it. Store credit is not imposed instead of a monetary refund required by applicable law. Where a monetary refund is due, it is normally issued to the original payment method. Any replacement or return arrangement is explained as part of the resolution.
| Situation | How we handle it |
|---|---|
| Parcel delayed or held in customs | We review tracking with UPS and assist with clearance documents where needed. A temporary hold or missed estimate alone is not a confirmed loss and does not automatically trigger a protection refund. Applicable legal cancellation rights remain available. |
| Parcel confirmed lost or stolen | If protection was purchased, we assess the claim under the coverage terms disclosed at purchase. Without protection, discretionary compensation is reviewed case by case, without limiting mandatory legal remedies. |
| Transit damage | If protection was purchased, we assess the affected products and evidence under the disclosed coverage terms. Compensation depends on the confirmed damage and the applicable approved coverage. Without protection, discretionary compensation is reviewed case by case, subject to legal rights. |
| Wrong item sent or our listing/fulfillment error | Contact us so we can correct the error directly. Shipping protection is not a condition for correcting our mistake. |
Zardo shipping protection costs 3% of the order amount, as displayed at checkout before payment. The protection charge is shown separately so you can review its amount. Keep your order confirmation and contact us to report a shipment that never arrived, cannot be located, or suffered transit damage. We will verify dispatch, tracking and the circumstances before determining coverage. If our team failed to dispatch an order, contact us so we can arrange shipment or the appropriate remedy; protection is not required to correct that fulfillment failure. The protection terms disclosed before purchase govern that additional service. The settlement will identify the covered goods, amount actually paid and any applicable adjustment to taxes or delivery charges. Nothing in this policy excludes amounts that must be refunded under applicable law. Protection is separate from the rights you already have under applicable law; declining it does not waive those rights.
